Holopaw, the squirrel, is a bit upset that Alva, the mouse, might’ve been wrong about eating a pretzel from the inside outside. They both hope to be untangled shortly.

A stop along Lake Down in Windermere finds cartoonist Charles Treadwell and what he likes most about Florida: Rollins College in Winter Park.
Rollins College is a beautiful private college and can be toured, but do call first. The college season can find a very crowded parking lot. Best to park over in Downtown Winter Park and walk over.

The Cornell Fine Arts Museum is within the campus and well worth a visit with a permanent gallery and traveling exhibits. The museum has a fantastic view of Lake Virgina, so bring your camera for that.

Rollins is in Winter Park, just north of Orlando. It has always been the place to go to stroll Park Avenue and shop or get a meal. Central Park is in the midst of Downtown Winter Park and a great place for a peaceful walk or a picnic.

Swampy follower Anne Kail was asking about my Swampy prints and it came to my attention I rarely post anything about them. I’ll start to post them more often. There are more than 50 of them. I should let you all see them once in awhile! 🙂
