El Rancho Hotel Court, Tampa. – Swampy’s Florida Postcards.
Here’s the El Rancho Hotel Court, now more referred to as a motel. I seem to recall the sign being around in the early ’80s. Don’t know when the sign came down, but would guess it was during one of the expansion of US41.
This is an unmarked postcard, but would guess this to be the late 1960s.
When I first posted this 10 years ago, the structure was still there. Since then a Wal-Mart wiped this and a slew of structures along Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa. The spot where El Ranco was is now part of the parking lot.
