Swampy Live: at Tropical Blossom Honey
Swampy at Tropical Blossom Honey Company in Edgewater. This is an exhibit of items collected over the 73 years they’ve been in business. The McGinnis family still own the business and the original McGinnis couple traveled the world distributing honey. The center is a statue of St Ambrosia, the patron saint of beekeeping, made of skeps that honey was made in.
Below is Swampy with an item that is in short supply: honey in whiskey bottles. Added are the funny labels. The whiskey business doesn’t find it so funny and have cracked down to the point that honey suppliers, like Tropical Blossom, are no longer going to sell the honey in this fashion.
