Lindy’s Sundries matchbook. The address doesn’t seem to exist anymore, so I couldn’t find what is in the place of Lindy’s today.

Here’s The Gifford Arms in Orlando in the 1950s. Over time the name changed to The Howard Vernon Motor Lodge and has that name today. A map below shows how the hotels look today.
Here’s a two sided mailer for La Cafe De Paris in Fort Lauderdale from the 1960s. The restaurant opened 50 years ago and is now one of the oldest French restaurants in Florida.
Here’s what the building looks like today and where it is:
Here’s the long running and very well known B&B Fisheries in Daytona Beach. It had been opened more than 50 years and recently closed. Besides purchasing fish, it was also a restaurant known to serve the freshest fish. It was a seafood icon on the east coast of Florida.
If you have any memories of B & B Fisheries, please leave some below!
Here’s a visual map of where the B & B building sits. The buidling is to the left of the image. If you know how to negotiate your way around the map, you can see the entire front of the building. It appears to be currently empty at the time of the shot. Haven’t been by recently to know if something is there now.
Here’s a part of the artwork I’m drawing for the upcoming ‘Swampy’s Florida: Lake Wales’ coloring and guide book.
