Swampy’s #Florida Historic Photos: How long did it take to construct The Biltmore in Coral Gables?
8 months after starting construction of the Coral Gables Biltmore it was finished in 1926. Builder George Merrick was in a hurry. He was also about to go broke. It was years later before The Biltmore would be purchased and achieve the greatness Merrick envisioned.
