Swampy’s #Florida Historic Photos: 1911 – A Zeppelin & Key West’s St Paul Episcopal Church!
A zeppelin flies over St. Pauls Episcopal Church in Key West during Armistice Day, November 11th, 1918.
St. Pauls original wooden church was destroyed in 1909 by a hurricane. The new church was being still being constructed when this photograph was taken.
St Pauls still stands and looks almost exactly as it does here. You can learn more about the church here:
