Swampy’s #Florida ads: Do you remember these buildings? – First Federal Savings & Loan Orlando, 1965
First Federal Savings and Loan of Orlando had the locations above back in 1965. The bank was successful until the savings and loan crash in the late 1980s and the bank was gone by 1990. I know three of the buildings still stand. Do the Dover Shores and Dixie Village structures still stand?
This advertisement was the pack cover of 1965’s ‘1003 Household Hints and Work Savers’. The book was sponsored by First Federal and has ads from other companies throughout that I’ll share down the road.
