A view of Lake Padgett off US 41 in Land O’Lakes. Lake Padgett connects to the east with Saxon Lake. All of which has many boaters, skiers, fishermen and jet skiers busy during weekends. This view is from the back parking area of Hungry Harry’s BarBQ restaurant along US41.

I was told that the southern end of Lake Padgett sinks 25 feet deep by an employee of Hungry Harry’s. The employee’s 6 foot tall friend has free dived that part of the lake and measured it.

Lake Padgett Park on the east side of the lake gives boat and picnic access. However, the park is gated and has signage warning only certain residents of the area may use the park. Drove all the way around the lake best I could considering I found myself in a private neighborhood that has streets that don’t connect all the way through with public roads. Been around connecting Saxon Lake and seem to recall that is also only available through private access, too.

By the way, Hungry Harry’s is s very popular bar-b-q spot that has enjoyed great success for 29 years. The restaurant sits snug in between US 41 and Lake Padgett.
