It’s very unusual for Swampy’s Florida to feature alcohol, but, Swampy’s friend, Melissa passed along a recipe booklet from 1958 by, whisky maker, Southern Comfort.
In it is a whiskey recipe that is a drink served at the Fontainebleau at the time. Don’t know if it’s served there today. There have been a number of renovations done at the site since ’58.
What isn’t mentioned is just which bar was serving the drink! There were many of them. Inside and out by the massive pool.

By the way, if you haven’t visit the Fontainebleu lately, here’s their website to plan a trip.
As much as I complain of historic Florida locations shredding the heritage of their business from their website.
The Fontainebleau has done the OPPOSITE!
Huge kudos to the opening of their website page. I hope they garner a ton of awards for an excellent job!
