Water fun at the former ‘Floridaland’ that lived from 1964 until 1971 in Osprey, between Sarasota and Venice. The amusement park was the first in the state before Disney to draw in an assortment of themes to lure people. The attraction did have a limited budget, but made the best of it presenting a  “Ghost Towm” wild west show, petting zoo, a train/tram ride, indian village and a porpoise show.

This postcard is unmarked but, obviously, was produced sometime during the amusement park’s existence.

This postcard is part of the Swampy’s Florida collection.
