This past weekend found Swampy along this back road off US 1 in St. Augustine.
Here’s a scene that’s changed with the rebuilding of the Bridge of Lions amongst other things. The postcard is unmarked and not sure when it is from. Any thoughts?
The earliest section constructed of what would become ‘The Florida East Coast Railway’ was the St. Johns Railway in St. Johns County in 1858. The section ran from the now forgotten community of Tocoi to St. Augustine.
